Our Mission 

Bound together in our Christian Faith and our love of music, we aim to evangelize through song and provide opportunities for spiritual, physical and financial outreach to others.

The Stella Maris Singers

An auditioned ensemble based out of Star of the Sea Parish in Surrey, BC.  Under the direction of Trudi Stammer, the choir includes Star of the Sea parishioners, members of other parishes in the deanery and people from the local community.  The members of the Stella Maris Concert Choir, while eclectic in terms of age and experience, share a common faith.  They aim to evangelize through song, performing a primarily sacred choral repertoire, including both traditional and contemporary selections.  In addition to the choir’s two main performances of the year (a Christmas Concert in December and a Choral Meditation on the Passion of Christ on Palm Sunday), they also provide music for various Masses, fundraising endeavours, and community events throughout the year.
